What is a DXA scan?
A DXA scan is also known as bone density testing. This testing, available Monday - Friday at VCHS, determines the density of a patient's bones and if they have or are susceptible to osteoporosis. VCHS's Hologic Discovery SL DXA scan equipment is one of the most popular systems in use in the medical field, bringing top quality results and enhanced comfort to our patients locally.
